PhD Graduation Spring 2023
After the welcome by Dean Prof. Dr. Roland Sigel, Dean of Studies Prof. Dr. Thierry Hennet presented the Faculty in figures and led the laudation of the 111 successful PhD students.
Dr. Sarah Beyeler offered her warm congratulations and introduced the newly graduated Science Alumae and Alumni to the Faculty's alumni community.
She mentioned the great opportunities for international networking, the benefits available to graduates and the other services of Science Alumni UZH from which they can benefit in the future.
The graduation ceremony was accompanied musically by geographer Larissa Sutter, who enchanted the room with her beautiful voice and the sounds of her guitar.
At the aperitif organised by the office of the Dean of Studies, both the new doctoral students and their families celebrated happily and contentedly.
