In order to enrich university life at MNF UZH, Science Alumni UZH awards annual grants for projects:
Funding is provided for activities by members of the MNF UZH (students, lecturers, staff, alumni and alumnae) in the areas of research, teaching and public relations, as well as sports, cultural or social projects.
Twice a year we award individual amounts, usually between CHF 200 and CHF 2,500.

o Description of the activity (planned activity, scientific and/or personal motivation of the participants or added value for the scientific community)

o Budget (application and other sources of funding)

o Description of the host institution and any confirmation of participation / fees
o Declaration of support from UZH (letter of recommendation for the applicant from a lecturer at the University of Zurich / supervisor of the research work at the University of Zurich, corresponding study coordination of the MNF - particularly relevant for student projects)

Process
Applications are reviewed by the Board of Science Alumni UZH.
Applicants will be informed by e-mail.
Successful applicants sign an agreement with Science Alumni UZH. They undertake to visibly acknowledge the commitment of Science Alumni UZH (the necessary documents will be provided by the association's secretariat).
In the case of student group projects, a written report on the activities will be submitted at the end of the project (1-3 pages).
Further information
Project applicants are advised to also seek sponsorship from companies and other sources of funding. Group projects involving teams of students from different universities are recommended to apply for financial support from all participating universities.
