On the occasion of a visit, the God of Wine, Dionysos, presented King Oineus with a gift: a vine.
Dionysos also taught the king the art of viticulture, which wine artist Erich Meier will introduce you to on his Uetiker winery at this event.
But we will not only be whisked away to Greek mythology, ampelography and oenology. As a gift from the god of wine, joy, grapes, fertility, madness and ecstasy, let yourself be seduced to a degustation.
You will see, excellent wines don't have to come from far away. Winemaker Erich Meier proves with craftsmanship, passion and creativity that fine wines can also be produced on your own doorstep. Erich Meier is regarded as one of the pioneers of modern pressing methods and has created top wines with their very own character from established grape varieties from the region.
On Wednesday, May 15, the master personally welcomes us to his wine cellar and introduces us to his creations and the fascinating world of pressing and fermentation processes.
